    As a Guitar student you will have the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience at one of the Darwen School of Music sell out showcases.

    All of our student have the option to take a graded music exam and gain a recognisable qualification, we can help you study and prepare.

    Darwen School of Music students regularly get the chance to record their own tracks for fun, there are even oppurtunities to record at a professional music studio.

Tommy Boardman

Tommy joined the Darwen School of Music line up back in 2011, having previously held the position of resident drum tutor at Reidy’s music shop. Tommy wanted to be part of something that really gave students the encouragement and opportunities to develop their musical abilities.

Since the age of 14 Tommy has had a passion for drums and music in general, having played in a band along side current members of “Biffy Clyro” and the popular “Foo Fighters” tribute band “Best of Foo”.
